The Shangri-La hotel, Singapore, from 18th to 20th June 2006, was the unique setting for over 600 Key Business, Research and Academic Europeans and Southeast Asians specialising in ICT for the EuroSouthEastAsia2006 cooperation forum who exchanged knowledge on ICT topics and ongoing cutting-edge developments going on within the two regions. The objective was to bring the two regions closer together and to create links going forward in the future.
IST2006 – Helsinki
EUSEA2006 is planning a Follow-up networking event at the IST2006 Conference in Helsinki from 21st – 23rd November 2006. The aim of this event is to build on the momentum created at EUSEA2006 in Singapore in June 2006 and outline the emerging opportunities for joint collaboration between European and Southeast Asian ICT players for EC Framework Programme 7 (due to be launched late 2006 – early 2007).
